Knowing how best to support your baby’s development can feel overwhelming, but you are not alone.
Here, you’ll find a series of practical, step-by-step videos showing developmentally supportive techniques designed to increase your confidence during everyday activities from around term age to 3 months post term. From nurturing playtimes and bonding to mastering essential routines like nappy changing, gentle moving and carrying, tummy time and even ways to pick your baby up to promote their head control.
Each video is supported by a short introductory video. These contain general background about Ei SMART together with some pointers for the associated video.
Keeping your baby safe: Follow the guidance of the Child Accident Prevention Trust which advises: “Never leave your baby unattended on a bed or a changing table. If a raised surface needs to be used, keep your baby within arm’s reach at all times.”
