Who We Are

EiSMART is an evidence based framework to give high risk babies the best start in life. We span all aspects of a child’s development: Sensory, Motor, Attention and Regulation, and Relationships. Professionals and parents work Together to support premature and sick infants from birth (Early Intervention).

Policy Purpose

We want to be transparent about what limited personal information we might gather, and how we use it. We don’t think there’s anything in here you’ll find surprising, but it’s written out as clearly as we can. If you have any questions at all, you can always drop us a line at info@EiSMART.co.uk.

We use your information in accordance with all applicable laws concerning the protection of personal information, such as the GDPR regulations of 2018.

This policy explains:
• What information we may collect about you
• How we may use that information
• In what situations we may disclose your details to third parties
• Our use of cookies to improve your use of our website
• Information about how we keep your personal information secure, how long we maintain it for and your rights to be able to access it

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The Mailing List

Visitors may optionally sign up to our Mailing List, which is hosted using the popular MailChimp service, whose compliance with GDPR laws is detailed here.

We operate a ‘by consent’ mailing list, which means only those who have directly signed up to it will ever be contacted. Further, you must confirm ownership of your email address upon sign-up by clicking a verification link sent directly to your inbox.

When you sign up, you provide your name and email address. MailChimp will also automatically collect the IP Address and therefore geolocation of where you signed up. We do not share mailing list data with any other parties and we will only contact you with information about EiSMART and its activities.

If you are on the mailing list and no longer wish to be, you can remove yourself at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the footer of the email. 

Who we share your data with

Nobody. 

How long we retain your data

We’ll retain your Mailing List data as long as you are subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, your data will be archived within MailChimp, and can be deleted at your request (simply email info@EiSMART.co.uk).

If you commence sign-up but do not verify your email address, your email address and any other information they provided will be removed and deleted after 60 days.

What rights you have over your data

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
