Gosia Jon-Dare
Gosia is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for early intervention for infants at increased risk of delayed neurodevelopment. She divides her clinical time between Cerebral Palsy Cymru in Cardiff, where she leads the ‘Better Start, Better Future’ early intervention service, and the neonatal unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She also holds an advisory role at the Babylab at Cardiff University.
Gosia particularly values working in partnership with families and is a strong advocate for nurturing parental confidence and self-efficacy. Her clinical approach is family-centred and grounded in evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on supporting developmental outcomes from the earliest stages of life. Since 2016, Gosia has contributed to the organisation and delivery of the Ei SMART Infant courses at Cerebral Palsy Cymru, supporting the ongoing professional development of clinicians dedicated to early intervention while also providing valuable experience and support for participating families.
Gosia is an experienced speaker who has presented her work at national and international conferences, including the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD), the European Paediatric Physiotherapy Congress (EUPPT), and the British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM).
